Team & Billing
For: Organization owners and admins managing team membership and invitations.
The Team & Billing page lets you invite colleagues to your Axemere organization, manage existing members, and view current active packages.
Navigation: console.axemere.ai/team
Required role: Admin or Owner to invite or revoke members; all roles can view
Table of Contents
Member Roles
Axemere uses six org-level roles that control access to console features:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access including billing and member management. Assigned automatically to the org creator. |
| Admin | Full console access: create/edit/delete all resources. Can invite members and manage subscriptions. |
| Billing | Can view all data and manage subscriptions and payments. Cannot create or modify gateway resources. |
| Member | Can create and modify gateway resources (credentials, workloads, policies, keys, gateways). Cannot manage subscriptions or invite members. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to all console pages. Cannot create, modify, or delete any resources. |
| Guest | Read-only access with personal information hidden. See Guest Access below. |
You select a role when inviting someone, and Admins/Owners can change an existing member's role later from the member list (except Guests, the last remaining Owner, and your own row).
Guest Access
The Guest role is designed for demos and prospect walkthroughs. It gives an external user read-only visibility into your organization's real traffic, spend, and policy data, without exposing any personal information.
What guests can see
- All console pages (records, spend, analytics, policies, gateways, team)
- Their own name and email in the Team member list
- All operational data (spend amounts, request counts, model names, policy rules)
What guests cannot see
- Other team members' names or email addresses (replaced with gray bars)
- Node IP addresses
- Billing contact email and payment method details
- API key prefixes
All sensitive fields are stripped from API responses server-side; they are absent from network responses, not just hidden in the UI.
Guest restrictions
Guests cannot create, edit, or delete any resources. Any attempt triggers a read-only notice. Guests also cannot export CSVs or download scheduled reports.
Guest expiry
Every guest invitation requires an expiry date (7, 14, 30, or 90 days, or a custom date). The expiry is shown in the Team member list with an amber warning when within 3 days. Owners and admins can extend a guest's access at any time from the member list.
When a guest's access expires, they see a dedicated expiry page with an option to start their own free trial.
Inviting a guest
- Click Invite Member.
- Enter the invitee's email address.
- Select Guest from the role dropdown.
- Choose an expiry duration.
- Click Send Invitation.
The invitee receives the same magic-link invitation email as any other role.
Inviting a Member
- Click Invite Member (top-right of the Team page).
- Enter the invitee's email address.
- Select a role from the dropdown.
- Click Send Invitation.
The invitee receives an email with an acceptance link. Invitations expire after 7 days. You can resend or revoke a pending invitation from the Pending Invitations section.
Managing Existing Members
Each active member is shown with:
- Avatar / Initials: derived from their display name
- Name and email
- Role: a dropdown for Admins/Owners to change it inline (a static badge for Guests, your own row, and — if you're the last remaining Owner — that row)
- Joined date
- Access expires: shown only when the org has at least one Guest member; see Guest expiry
To remove a member, click the trash icon at the right of their row. The member loses access immediately. This cannot be undone; you would need to invite them again to restore access.
Note: You cannot remove the org Owner. You also cannot remove yourself.
Pending Invitations
Invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted appear in the Pending Invitations section:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| The address the invitation was sent to | |
| Role | The role that will be assigned upon acceptance |
| Expires | For a Guest invitation, when the resulting guest membership expires (not the 7-day invite-link expiry); for every other role, when the invitation link itself expires |
Click the trash icon to revoke a pending invitation before it is accepted.
Billing Plan
A Billing Plan card at the bottom of the Team page lists each held package (name, price or "Free trial active", and a status badge) with a Manage button, or a View Plans button when nothing is active yet — both just navigate to Services, where activation and cancellation actually happen. This card is purely informational.
